No Leopard for me... at least not yet.

I'm holding off on upgrading to Leopard, at least for the foreseeable future. Yeah, the real and potential incompatibilities do worry me, but the real reason is simpler. Chances are very good that I will be upgrading to a MacPro from my Quad G5. That will, no doubt, cause at least some upgrade issues. Why handle these twice when I can lump them both together and do basically 2 upgrades but suffer the ills of a single one.

Telaen 1.2.0

Posted by Jim Jagielski on Tuesday, October 30. 2007 in Programming

Today we released version 1.2.0 of Telaen, a very simple but powerful PHP-based webmail system. The reason why I like it is that it requires a very bare-bones PHP installation and is really designed to be as straightforward as possible. If you've read my previous posts about Telaen, you know that it is an offshoot of Uebimiau. We've been contacted by several organizations and projects (including web-host control panels) that will be dropping UM for Telaen.

In case you hadn't noticed, PlanetApache is down. The site is a labour of love for Thom May who just happens to be on vacation right now (isn't that always the way it is?). What a fun thing to come back to... In any case, I'm sure I'm not the first nor last to say how useful the site is; I owe Thom a beer. In the meantime, Sam Ruby has setup an incredible simulation.
