A LOT of projects I'm involved in are making releases, or will be soon. For example, Apache Tomcat v5.5.15 was voted as being stable; versions 0.9.8 and 1.2.3 of APR and APU are being voted on as we speak; versions 2.0.56 and 2.2.1 of Apache HTTPD will likely be released within a week or so, and I just released version 1.0.0-RC1 of Telaen, a PHP webmail client which takes up where Uebimiau dropped the ball.

Telaen

Previously I had blogged about Uebimiau, a nice PHP-based Webmail application that I was playing around with. I had hoped that the development process would be rebooted, but, instead, it stagnated before it even got off the starting gate.
So a few of us created a fork of UM, called Telaen. We still have a lot to do, mostly regarding getting the actual site done, but development on the code has already begun. Comments and suggestions are welcome.
